I would have a tough time not starting Godard Friday the way that game ended, tho it may be to early yet... maybe we get one more game on them and start him Sunday for the first away game, then have him beat the living **** out of Hartnell. Sykora looks hurt, if he is they need to get him off the ice because the guy is not only not generating... but he is making bad passes

Gawd I hope the Caps decide to start playing like a second place team sometime soon. I am gonna be pissed if they let Rangers take them. The penns do look shweet though.

 

Caps are in trouble no doubt, AO is trying to do to much himself... he needs to realize he has a great team around him. I felt they made a good move with goaltending though, that Russian dude played great, just cant win a game when you cant score. I have a feeling Caps will step it up though, they wont go down w/o a fight.

 

yeah, he was set up in the wrong position so many times saturday. Rangers at this point want it more IMHO. Hell, Caps are shooting at the goal way more and statistically speaking, in 7 games with more shots on goal you should win more games (as long as penalties don't lose it for you). I think they are screwing the pooch as a team more so than alex trying to run the show. He is definitely dominant, but hell Green could win it for them. Hopefully they will wake up in New York.

 

They have entirely to much talent for one guy to take 19 of their 70 shots in the series thus far, I am all for ripping the puck as soon as I get it but you gotta use your blue line when you have a weapon like Green, he only has 5 shots in 2 games.. your talking about a defense man who had 8 goals in 8 games
