I was on the USS Nimitz and leaving the ship as the first female came aboard. As great as it sounds...no f-ing thanks. I saluted and she was standing attention on the officer's brow waiting for permissin to come aboard and I said to my fellow ordie on shotgun detail as I left, sucks to be you. Only screw with civilian woman, leave the military chics alone...if you are miltary as well.

 

I made a Med cruise on the Nimitz '77/78 and a few practice trips. I forget the lingo . Thats one big boat !

 

yeh i have forgotten most of it. mine was a west pac, i am now a shellback for those who know what that means. Which btw I am sure if the navy still does that it has to be the biggest joke yet.
