You are gonna be hard pressed to get us Mont/Howard/Frederick County boys to come up now, with the other tracks opened up. Actually a very famous track in this area was closed for like 4 yrs and is now back open (toxic soil, they couldn't develop it like they wanted) so Sundays should prove to be fun there (they only run the 1/8th other times for now). I want to say they open next week. 75/80 dragway.

 

so Cecil is a no go now?

 

What about capital raceway, in bowie?

Thanks Rj. it sucks we got rained out today. i would be ok with cecil, but capital would ok too.

 

And there might be another track in the future as well. A person is trying to get approval to open a track in Northern York (PA) county, which is about 45 minutes from Frederick, MD.

It's being considered- they're looking at noise issues, but are open to the idea, so we'll see...
