So my trucks trans is starting to act up a little bit...randomly skipping gears, taking too long to shift. It acts up when it feels like it and then other times drives fine. Ive been lookin at an FLT or Performabuilt trans but I dont feel like doing the swap on my back in the driveway. Anyone know any place reputable?

Not sure exactly how far you want to go, but I use Little Falls Transmission, on Paterson Ave in Little Falls. Owner's name is Gary.

cant really help you but where abouts are you in jersey? im from ewing twp. shouldnt be to hard to do in the driveway though with the right equipment. performabuilt isnt all that far away either

 

Central Jersey in Piscataway. Im about 45 minutes from you. Ah look at that. Didn't even think to look up where performabuilt was. Thats awesome, about 2 hours from me.
