+1. The AFR should be mid to upper 12s if your running NA. How much timing are you running?

Nice results! That's about 460hp and 445tq at the flexplate! Real world results using off the shelf parts is great! Personally I'd ditch the FAST for the stock 75mm truck intake I'm using to get 444rwhp with or a tbss intake, a 5.3 doesn't want that much Plenum at streetable rpm ranges

Not to jump Bens thread here but i've been eyeing this trickflow kit with a 283/286 duration 560/560 lift cam with Gen X heads .. Thoughts??? My 5.3 is '08 Sierra...Would that have been the better cam to run??

283/286 is alot of cam for our heavy trucks and little engines but im sure that the peak HP will be great with those heads. What TC are you running in the tranny and where does it flash? Im guessing somewhere above 4000?

Those numbers are at some lift other than .050, look for those numbers. It will be a lot less, my guess is like 218 something

If you want to run that cam you'll wanna run the tfs 205 heads, shave them .024 thousandths to 54-55cc, run .040" thick head gaskets, this will get you around 10.4-10.5:1 compression which is Almost where you wanna be any way but its even more important with a bigger cam that has more overlap-more Overlap=less cylinder pressure=less low end torque=Sad Face!
I'd run a Cam Motion lobed cam at 210*intake 215*exhaust at .050
.566 lift with 1.7"s or .596" with 1.8 rockers and will be around 266-272 on the advertised duration .006" get it on a 112lsa 3 degrees advanced
Run a TBSS intake and 87mm tb and go have fun with your "Truck"
Up to a point aftermarket camshafts make a big increase in power but after you reach a certain point All you do is move the Point where the engine makes power higher in the rpm range Hence why Big cams aren't quite the hot ticket in small cube engines in big ole trucks! goodluck
