well in estimation, for every tenth you pick up in the 60ft you are double it for the 1/4 so u would actually be cutting .4 tenths off the 1/4 if you could get a 2.2 60ft then your 1/4 mile would be around a 15.3

I've had an ecsb 4.8 truck with full bolt-ons and only 276 hp full weight go 14.9 at 92 or so

full weight your only 300 more lbs then my rcsb, there is a ecsb with only 301 hp running 13.5 with a fubared tune.

Hey walker, i saw you at the dragway. You had HID's and halo's right? lol. I didnt get to see you run, but i saw you in line. I wasnt happy with my time either even though its the only time i've ever ran the 1/4. Im not sure if the slips were wrong, but i do know they were having computer problems. A Cam would really help especially w/ a stall. I took out my 3500 and put a "high" factory stall back in and i went .5 slower. I would call Rich at Precision Transmission in Amarillo, he did mine and i love it.

yea that was me!!! well i went to lubbock today. got my truck retuned at texas speed....it was weird my two dyno sheets conflicted really bad.....my best pull in amarillo was 312 but in lubbock my best was 296....so im guessing the correction factor in amarillo was off or something....the tuner in lubbock said that my truck was the most horsepower with the adons i have that he as ever seen out of a 5.3.! and i already talked to him im trying to decide on wether i should get a fully built tranny or do a shift kit for now.

Thats weird on the dyno numbers? Maybe he tuned you for a bit more hp than torque this time, or visa versa. I would think that your tranny would be fine with just a shift kit with maybe a cam. Are you planning on Forced Induction?
