It is my opinion at least, that that dyno is not calibrated correctly or the "weather correction" was corrected a bit too much. With stock heads, I really don't see that kind of power happening. Do you have any track times to back it up? It would be awesome if it really put down that much, but I'm skeptical.
skeptical, kinda like when you thought that cam was too big for the "ls2" over on qst lol.

to the op- good numbers, they dont seem unreal like some ppl are saying.ive seen plenty 5.3s make great power. just because someone hasnt seen it on pt.net doesnt mean it cant be done.

Since a 403 is an LS2 still

And 373 hp to the wheels in 2nd gear with just a cam? I'm sorry if I'm having a hard time believing it, but hey it's a dyno number and doesn't mean anything.

most cam only 5.3's ive seen dyno around 350 or so,most have a big stall which takes some power like mentioned above. the op's cam is a solid cam for a 5.3 and with a stock converter 373 isnt too high. maybe if it was 473 i would call bs but his numbers seem about right.

If it was in 3rd gear with the converter locked, I wouldn't be questioning the numbers so much. Yes the truck dyno'd at 373, that's fine, but does it run like it really has 373rwhp is the real question.

To the OP, no disrepect to you or your truck at all, if that thing runs as good as the numbers then I'm jealous.

How often you see people with big cams dyno with stock converters? hardly ever. thats why this seems outrageous when its not. my old 6.0 made 320 with hellaciously loose converter that would flash to 4500.. put that same cam in another 6.0 with stock converter and it made around 390.. Im not shocked at all to see numbers like that with a stock converter and bigger cam..

exactly

throw a huge cam in a 5.3 with a stock converter and it could make 400,but i doubt it would run great track times.

thats purdy impressive, but if your dyno is correct then the dyno i ran on is way off. cuz i have alot more mods on a lq9 with a manual trans and i only put 390whp. are mustang dynos inertia dynos cuz iv been told that they run on the higher side, not tryin to rain on your parade but maybe why your numbers are so close to mine?
