Yes sir, we've instaled several of our VVT camshafts in the LY6 combo's already (mostly in swap or retro-fit vehicles for some reason though). The same principle that always applied to picking a cathedral cam for a truck applies here....the same basic design is good, just pick more conservatively because of the extra weight you are hauling and all. Our AFM1 and AFM2 cams will be the more popular choices for the trucks, depending on what torque converter you run and other mods obviously...Or VVT1 and VVT2 if you delete the AFM. That's our preference to do because being able to run the extra lift on the more aggressive lobes has been shown already to make significantly better power!

My buddys truck 6.2 full bolt on's put down 400 rwhp @ 5900 rpm before we maxed out the injectors with the VVT2 cam from TSP retune coming with new injectors i cant wait to see the new numbers

Here it is guys! Sorry for the delay! We've been running like mad around here already with tax time, and its taken an act of congress to get this graph from our tuner!
The truck is a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with the 6.2L VVT equipped engine! It came in completely stock, down to the stock airbox and exhaust. The customer wanted a camshaft with a close to stock idle, but great power!
So we tested the new Texas Speed VVT truck cam on it! It is mid 2-teens on the intake, and high 220's on the exhaust (21x/22x) duration. It has mid .500's on the lift with a 1.7 ratio rocker, but is slightly too much for a new set of LS6 or L92 valve springs. We recommend the Comp 26918's or PAC 1218's as a minimum!
We installed the cam and tuned the truck, nothing more.

My 2006 Hemi Ram put down 285 RWHP/301 RWTQ with a SCT tune and Magnaflow SI/SO 3" muffler in 2nd gear on 85 lbs each stock 20" wheels and 305/50/R20s.

If you compare area under the curve, the GM VVT engine is making better than the graph you posted. Look at 4000rpm...you're making about 290ftlbs, the 6.2L I posted is making 340ftlbs! Your torque peaks at about 4500rpm (300ftlbs), while at 4500rpm the GM 6.2L is making 360ftlbs! That's what gets these heavy trucks moving and wins races

The dyno chart I posted was with the limp wristed factory MDS cam in my truck and a 2nd gear pull at that.
I stepped up to a 265/265 @ .006, 212/212 @ .050, .560/.560" lift, 114* LSA cam that really put some step in the old 5.7.
My whole point was I felt the 6.2 should have made more power bone stock. Its rated at around 405 HP/420 TQ IIRC. Yet only puts 320 to the wheels???? I watched a bone stock SRT8 AWD Jeep get dyno'd at 350 RWHP/348 RWTQ. With a small cam and tune it put 425 to the wheels.
