Last time I ran in the 1/4, I had a horrible intake leak (thanks to my FPR vacuum line) and couldn't even keep the thing running at idle on it's own. Needless to say keeping the truck above 1k rpms in crowded staging lanes wasn't the best for my IATs I think I ran a few mid 13s despite the problems. This was also on an old tune. There have since been huge improvements IMO.

If you don't go 12s with 4k stall/228r/4.10s/slicks something's gotta be wrong.

I'm going to be pretty upset if I can't hit 12s with the 80e/3600/4.10s/and a cam a tad smaller than yours. Although Ben is saying that the 80e is really gonna bog things down badly.

It's not a 4k stall, it felt like it at the time, but it is much tighter than other trucks I have driven with similarly rated stall speed. It's much closer to a 3600 IMO.

And I don't think that 80e is going to hurt you, I've seen multiple people run either the same or faster ETs with higher MPHs.
