HeLp advice on pushing more hp, made 530 max
Trying to squeeze a little more power out of my truck than what it already put out.
Adding these next things are the obvious upgrades for now:
I'm thinking the usual which is some trick flow heads 225 and a aftermarket intake, either fast92 or another.
I use this truck when I travel out of town about once a month and on weekends, maybe up to 320miles in a day when traveling out of town.
so far with the mods its pretty reliable with the exception of the tranny which was stock when it took a dump on me out of town. Tranny did survive 5 or 6 dyno pulls so I wasn't mad.The tranny has since been upgraded with a 5 pinion planetary, Hughes and blue clutches, bigger band, etc.
The mods it has now are:
LS2 shortblock
Lunati cam 237/243-.600/.600 113 LSA
Under drive pulley
1 3/4 long tube headers
No cats, 3" Y-pipe
Knn intake
243 port & polished heads milled .45xxx
Stock 90mm intake manifold
LS2 throttle body
42 lbs injectors at 3 bar
Msd outside fuel pump & stealth 340 intank pump
Nitrous outlet plate on 125 shot
4k triple disc stall
4.10 gears w/ Detroit tru trac
Built 4l65e tranny
............. might be missing some stuff.
anyother ideas on what I can add?
I ready like to keep the stock bore.
Been told to open it up, but leave the stock crank but I wanna leave the shortblock as it is.
truck made 530hp, 530 torque on the dyno with 125 shot and 22on timing since the heads are milled .45xxx and has more than enough compression.

I have a aem af gauge to monitor it, but with the heads milled that much and I put on new head bolts from the dealer not arp when I put the heads on I think anymore I run the risk of blowing a head gasket.

I could be wrong, that's why im here, weighing all options.
the headers 1 7/8 I wouldn't mind if a had some badass flowing heads.
I do want a custom grind cam for it but gotta decide what is all going in the motor first so it can be up to spec. intake wise im not sure but the heads in pretty set on getting the trick flows 225

Im worried that its gonna be too much for the motor/head gasket.

my guess is im somewhere in 11:6-11:8.
so a 150 on plate, keep check on the af
I also have a fuel gauge but I should be fine with 2 pumps
that should be the fastest/cheapest way to make some more power?
also I have both a nitrous outlet and a harris speed works plate.
which one would work best since NO2 has the spray at the top and HSW has the spray pattern around the perimeter?
