I believe Mitch ran 30psi on his 5.3 at some point and didn't have issues.. Don't know the finer details of that though.

Nice times, ever think about trying a little more cam? The ls6 cam seem to make some good power but there has to be a little more left in it then what a stock gm cam will make. The way it peeks eairly and and slowly fades off, maybe needs a little more air flow to pull up there??

I think there is no question better options, but the ls6 will pull to 6k. This dyno had a heck of time loading the truck and I've read other local turbo guys had the same problem. After boost hits, it drops slight through the rpms, around 1.5-2psi drop at 6.5k. The graph show that. On the street, this is not the case.

This is my old dyno from last year. Different dyno and it peaks around 6. This is likely more true to the real power curve as track times supports the truck picks up mph holding it to 6.5k instead of shifting around 6k. There is no mph gains however going to 7k. With our weight of these trucks, big tq and HP early is key.

I c, yeah that power curve looks much better there, idk the heads may become a limiting factor before the cam..? It just seems like theres not much cam on the intake side with the ls6 but it seems to be working real well for you,

the truck intake peaks at 5xxx the ls1 or ls6 intake will make 6500rpm worth of power

at least thats how our junkyard builds work

this is 13 and 17psi on ours when the mpt76 was on

its going faster now with the gt45 turbo on it now...

19lbs on the street was making 13 on the dyno... we maxed out the boost on 17 on the dyno, and then it ran 23!!! on the street haha

so thats our 605rwhp 17lb pull rich as fawk

this is with a ZR1 cam that pulls to 6k peak.
our ls6 dropped at 5500ish

here is a pull with ls6 cam, and stock valvesprings vs dual springs
on 14lbs lower boost, you can see where it peaks off. but you can also see on 14lbs where the stock valvesprings were floating
