Default Dyno'd my L59

Finally got a chance to dyno my truck. I'd like to go back in colder weather and try again before I add headers. In colder weather I can run about 2-3º more timing and certainly make another 10 or so more hp. The dyno at this shop is also known for being lower than other Dynojet's and usually about the same or lower than dyno numbers from the same vehicles on W2W's Mustang Dyno.

Specs on the truck.

Regular cab short box 2wd.
L59 flex fuel 5.3L
Corsa Sport cat back exhaust.
LPE 160º thermostat.
Outlaw cold air intake.
GM Accessories 20" wheels.
275/45R20 Hankook RH06 tires.
3.73 gear with Detroit Locker (weighs roughly 1.2lbs more than the gov-lock it replaced).
93 octane from Shell.
Precision Industries TBTC (dyno'd with converter locked).
222º/224º .566"/.568" 112LSA cam.
2 bottles water wetter.
HP Tuners tuning by myself.

that's great for just basically a cam swap.

Hmm about 20 hp short of what I would have expected.

I figure that in colder weather and with a stock wheel and tire there is more to be had out of it, but I was basicly just hoping for an over 300RWHP number. Stock on these are around 240 or so and I'm 60+ over that without many mods. Long tubes should be another 15-20 or so down the road I figure. With hp peaking roughly 1000 over stock I'm also fairly happy with the flow of the intake and manifolds with cats. I think my shift points are pretty good also with 6400/6200/6000.

Over 300 is pretty damn good for the few mods you have and yeah, some dynos read lower than others.

For those few who had questioned how much torque this cam put down. Keep in mind that P.E. didn't come in as soon as it should have either which took away some of the lower rpm torque. The truck has a rather nice and flat torque curve. Those numbers aren't distored by the converter stall either. That's why I locked the converter in for the pull and made it so that I could run it that low of rpm.
