Thanks, we were talkin about this on friday and a head casting # issue came up. The casting # on my heads is 706 and they said that every truck w that # always has better #s. I really don't know, but I found one of the sheets and it is the one where my converter locked. I will ask someone to scan it for me.

If u look in the passanger side towards the front(radiator area) there is a 3 digit # on the head it self. That should be it. I found the 361 hp sheet and took a pic but can't post here because it's too big and I can't get it to work.

Yep, mine is a 706 casting as well.Maybe there is some truth behind that and thats why people are always like damn..its a stock cam 5.3 with bolt-ons....As always i'm just like Yepppp.

I think so probably better #s. They said that if u go to the dealer there is also 2 kinds of pistons. One is about 30 dollars and the other is like 80 dollars. Don't know but aparently the compression is different in the motor.
