I need to pick some shift points and want to get an idea what the powerband is like

I used to have one, it made 276hp and 267tq, I was shifting at 6400 1-2, 6400 2-3 and 6000 3-4, stock cam and stock converter, shorty headers,k/n intake,u/d pulley,4.10's,elect. fans

14.9@9? mph 4850 race weight

wow, i didnt think it would need to rev that high with the stock cam

Lower number was a bone stock 4.8 with a 5-speed. The other is after a Z06 cam swap and untuned.

that cam looked good until I read about the 2mpg loss.

If I can get some 1.85 rockers cheap enough, Im gonna try them.

hell put the 2k vette cam in it and dont even have to change valve springs to run it, and pick up 3/10's in the 1/4 on a stock stall converter.

thats real good considering you can get the cam cheep. Do you remeber the specs? Is it the same as the '01-02 fbodies cams?

KB the 2mpg loss is this do to your type of tuning, and also would TrailBlazer converter be a good match for the 02 ls6 cam???
