Finally finished my motor build and swapped the old 5.3 out for the 6.0. Had Justin from Blackbear help me out with a base tune but couldn't get the idle right so brought it to a shop locally and these are the numbers it put down once it was running right.

This was on a dyno dynamics dyno and I was running a 20" rim. Pretty happy with the results.

More details on the motor, Just a stock LQ4 with your cam?

Just curious because im just fininshing swapping in a stock 03' LQ4 with cam in my Z71 .

 

Its an 03 lq4 out of a hummer. I tore it down and replaced almost everything I could. I have a build thread over on gmfullsize but here's a quick run down on what went into it.

233/239, .595/.603 @ 112 LSA
243 Heads
Patriot Extreme Valve Springs
Racetronix 42# Injectors
Precision Industries Vig 3800 Stall
TSP 7.4 Push Rods
LS7 Lifter
LS2 Timing Chain
ARP head studs
Melling oil pump

Probably more but that's what I can remember right now.

Hows she drive on the street?

 

Drives not bad. The truck is loud as hell so I'm going to have to do something about that this summer. Starting to get use to the stall but its REALLY loose.
