Default 07 NNBS 5.3 with new cam and questions?

O.K. got her back today. love the new cam. My first cam was a FMS 220/220 .547/.547 114 LSA. I got it back with 2 dyno sheets. One looked like a normal curve and it made 340RWHP 310 RWTQ. The second sheet had a big spike around 4750 RPM and the HP and TQ jumped up and stayed up till the end of the pull. I guess they stalled it up or something. It made 353 RWHP and 356 RWTQ. Here is a copy of the second graph. Can someone explain this graph to me.

The new cam is a FM-5 224/228 .588/.576 112 LSA. I got one dyno sheet back with it. the curve looks normal. it made 355 RWHP 325 RWTQ.

I don't know if I gained or lost RWTQ, lol.

The new graph has the 340 RWHP pull and 355 RWHP pull. I'll post it up as soon as I get it scanned.

Not bitching, just looking for some knowledge.

also added a washer to the shift kit. a total of one washer. I will need new tires very soon . the 1-2 shift is pretty impressive and will be crazy on wet roads

WOW wtf?!?!?!?!

who installed your shift kit, and stall? everyone i call is like 600-700
then they tell me they don't recommend me spinning to 6000 on my 1-2 and 2-3, 3-4 to 6200 wtf?
he said if he puts a shift kit and a stall in my transmission, it will find every weak part there. so i might as well just have him build it to hold up to 600RWHP or buy an already built transmission..

Futral did both. As far spinning the motor up, with the 220 cam I didn't need too. the 224 cam has a higher power band. all the pulls where made with the cut-out closed. I guess there's a few more HP in there, lol.

So far, the truck really loves this cam. the cam and stall are getting along much better now. the power is coming on a litle sooner and the butt dyno can feel the difference. I took a guess on my idle speed and got real close, I need to bump both the in park and in gear up by 20 RPM's and it should be perfect. I will make a cold start-up, cut-out closed video this morning and put up before i leave for activities of the day.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE.

it really wanted the 112 LSA. I was told it wouldn't be as DD firendly. So When I decided to switch I went bigger and on a 112.

Here is the video, it was to cold for the shorts i was wearing, lol. the idle didn't have time to drop all the way, but you get the point. hope you enjoy. i make a betted video later
