Expedition rear diff
I have a 98 expedition, with a 3.55 limited slip 8.8 diff, the spyder gears broke and chip one of the pinion gears. The truck is a winter beater and a second car. What diff parts are interchangeable, would parts out of a mustang fit??? Also just want opinons on how long the ring and pinion would last with out replacing them. Just trying not to sink a bunch of money into it.
Thanks
Thanks

Maybe get a 9.75 posi rearend out of a Lightning or HD F150. L has 3:55 gears and HD has 3:73.
Might find one in junkyard.
