Hey guys, im trying to swap a 4l80e into my truck that currently has a 4l65e in it (AWD) could somebody please point me in the direction of where to find the adapter to make the 4l80 work with my stock 4l65 transfer case? thanks!

 

You need to buy a 32 spline input gear for your transfer case, and modify your crossmember. The adapter you have will work, same bolt pattern, just need a new gasket.

Which transfer case do you have?

 

Where do I find one of those gears for the transfer case? And I'm not sure exactly, whatever came in a stock 2004 SS Silverado AWD

 

NVG 149. Those are hard to come by now, not sure if a member here still can get them or not.
