Default 08 broken transmission

My brothers 08 1500 quad cab hemi dodge pickup broke yesterday. This truck has 15k miles on it. Never abused never even put into 4 wheel drive. Here's what happened. He was driving the truck to work and it started to shift between 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive. After a few times of that it shifted into 4 wheel low and wouldn't disengage. Luckily he was about 10 miles from the Dodge dealer and made it. Has anyone ever had or heard of a problem like this?

My uncle had a tranny go out in his 07 Durango at like 7k miles then he had serious electrical issues and computer failed. He got his money back with the lemon law and will never own MOPAR again...

well he got the truck back yesterday. They told him the problem was a faulty wiring harness. Apparently when the truck was built the wiring harness wasn't attached correctly causing wires to rub against metal. It should be interesting to see how long it takes for something else to go wrong. Hopefully nothing for my brothers sake. thanks for responding

I agree with the first 2, but GM = bad electronics (Delco)
