30lbs lighter than me in my 01 caged rcsb SLE GMC, with front and rear bumpers, 3/4 tank, no tailgate and full interior w ith ac.

5,8xx lb with the stock 17's, half tank and me not in it..... Weight reduction hahahahahahaha you funny.

4600 with me in it only weight reduction would be race wheels and spare ,

wasnt bad just took $$$$$

never hacked the truck up as many say to drill holes in and everywhere!

just replaced parts with lighter parts, hood, bumper, seats, removed all HVAC stuff from under dash, went 4 link instead of leaf spring, fiberglass hood, so forth!

Thanks for the info! I guess I can do my contributing to this thread.

I weighed 4300 with me in it(190). No tailgate, spare, winch assembly, tubular lower a arms, headers, and a lot of exhaust gone. I've just added weight since. You would think on a 4500 pound truck, that shedding weight would be easy. Everything seems like a sacrafice to me. I have really been considering a nice tubular trans crossmember, but that comes with a compromise in strength. The stock one is heavy as hell.

Some of the posts don't tell what type of vehicle unless there is a pic. Pretty sure they are trucks though lol.

3400-3600 Regular cab Colorado.. need to weigh it again with the new motor.. I think its lighter than the 5cylinder was
