Top gear had a car on a few weeks ago that knock the Bugatti Veyron of its pedistal. I will see if I can find the video tomorrow and post it. I think this is it but not 100% sure.

The SSC aero is badass for sure but it's only claim is top speed. It's acceleration isn't on par with the Veyron solely due to it's traction innabilities at lower speeds when compared to the Bugatti.

 

The car I am thinking of, they put on the track with the bugatti, and it spanked it all over the truck, it never could catch it. I will have to find it.

All they could say is, why would someone need a car this fast.

OK, after looking around, that must be the car I was thinking of. So looks like I need to find the video of it spanking the bugatti now.

and to think, there are people out there that will buy them, and start modifying them to make them faster.

Won't be long till someone has a 0-60 car in .5 seconds that will top out at over 300mph, run on pump gas, and be streetable.

And there will still be that guy, who will want to go faster.
