Wondering what times should I expect out of my current setup!!!

02 stepside reg cab silverado, LQ9, Custom tune, K & N intake, 4.88 gears, T-56, 3" dual Exhaust

Takeoff/Traction is going to be my main concern, current everyday tires are 255/50/17 kumbo 27" tires and I feel the truck is geared to low with these tires. With that in mind how much would Slicks in about a 30" tire help me in times.

Or other setup/tips might help me get to lower times quicker....

14.7@95 youre not cammed or anything right just the 6.0

 

I was thinking/hoping lower, guess everyone is... but you're right no cam just 6.0

 

yea thats true everyone wants faster, but im just goin off of what ive seen from cammed 6.0s and stock 6.0s in short wides.

 

Not doubting what you say, cause I'm sure I don't have the experience you do... But was just thinking lower than 14.7, cause someone close to where I live has the same motor/setup in an ex cab but has a supercharger. He ran a 13.5 I know that is a big boost in power, but I should weigh a good deal less. Didn't expect to be THAT much of a difference between the two.
