Default what do you think?

Hey guys,

I am slowly gathering parts for my turbo rcsb. I have recently been called out by a friend of mine, with a srt 4 neon we did a big turbo swap on and a few other things that he says should run 11.5's but I don't see anything more than mid to low 12's. I have tried telling him he does not stand a chance but he is steady flapping his gums. Needless to say he is starting to get to me and won't be satisfied just beating him... I want to destroy him

I am just wondering what I am actually capable of running with this combo I have going on.

The motor so far is planned to be:

ERL superdeck I 6 block
Callies dragonslayer crank
Callies rods (not sure which ones just yet)
Weisco 4.125 with an according dish to get my 9:1 compression
The heads are still up in the air but I have narrowed it down to wcch stage 2 ls7 heads or there stage 3 l92 heads.
Edelbrock ls-xt intake
102mm TB
And it will be topped with a KB racing Turbo kit with a S480 Turbo that I think I might buy the new billet bullseye wheel and compressor housing.
This will be ran with 93 pump gas and a healthy dose of Meth.
And I think I will turn the boost up to 20'ish pounds
And it will be attached to a beefey 80e
This is going to be thrown into a 06 rcsb that I hope to keep around 4-4300#'s, with MT drag radials and the new assasin traction bars.

Of course this is liable to change, but that seems to be the final combo.

What could I realistically see out of a combo like this? The track I plan to run at has very good prep and is capable of a very good run.

Thanks, sorry about the long post and any grammer mistakes I am typing this on my new tablet... and I am not quit use to it yet.

At 20 lbs you should easily run low 10s. Probably 9s. Weight of the truck is the biggest deciding factor of you making single didgets.

Yeah he is just blowing smoke. The car is quick but not that quick. He made right at 350 to the wheels on a base tune.

As far as traction the track we run at is very nice and is capable of holding 5 second pro mods. So it will just be a matter of getting the suspension where it needs to be.

Is that erl block 6 bolt? if not I would look into one at that boost on that size bore. If it does def utilize that with heads that are 6 bolt. You will murder him.

Know those guys that think they have the end all be all of fast? That's this guy, as far as expense at this point I am over building for a solid 1000-1100, just to keep duribility up and to have room to grow just in case.

Would I have any problems at 20+ pounds with 9.5:1?

Yes the erl block I am getting is 6 bolt and yes I will fully utilize the 6 bolt heads. Now I just have to decide if I should step u and go ahead and have 1/2 head studs put in or stick with arp stud it comes with.

I am pretty sure it is low 60mm and no he will not be on slicks. As far as when we are racing... he knocked the ring land off one piston and rebuilding it, and still don't even have a truck to put this in. So it will be while.
