Converter will put you in the low 8s for sure. 8.2-8.3. Did you take your headlight out. Very common practice and for me I gained .2 from doing so and never lost the two tenths in 15 runs after with 5 or so runs before. Might be good for a tenth in the 1/8th.

 

i dont think that will help me any since i have a volant cai and the firter is in an enclosed box but thanks.

 

Does your box suck from the fender? If so you should open the front up and take out the light. Will it gain you anything for sure, no guarantees but it surely won't hurt! I am Very confident if it is sucking from the fender it is hurting you.

Regardless of what you do the converter will help allot.
