Default Went to the track and tested out a few things...

I wanted to test out a few things while I was at the track tonight and since there wasn't many racers there, I thought it would be a good time to.

I first tried removing the head light, to let air 'ram' into the cone. On a back to back run with a 10 minute cool down inbetween, I ran the exact same time. This is on a N/A pass, no nitrous and in overdrive.

Removed head light:14.177 @ 93.52 (2.0 60')
In place:14.187 @ 93.54 (1.96 60')

Next,

I tried full exhaust vs. open cut-outs. For starters, I have Thorley long tubes with a dynomax dual in/dual out muffler, ran in 2.5 inches with no cats. After the headers lie the cut-outs.
With a 50 shot which should app. put me at 330rwhp.

Full exhaust:13.861 @ 98.30 (2.1 60')
Open:13.976 @ 98.82 (2.2 60')

Just my tests that I thought I would share... If this isn't accurate enough for you, do your own.

Interesting! Do you think if you had pulled a 2.1 60ft w/ the cut outs open that it would have bested the run w/ them closed? Cuz it appears your trap was slightly higher with them open although the higher trap could be attributed to a number of variables.

Good to know though....oh and that truck sounds frkn sick.
