Thanks. I'll be installing the 42# injectors and a 40,000 GVW tranny cooler tomorrow and then back to the track. Hopefully I'll have a handle on this by then.

7". They bulge out pretty bad IMO but I haven't decided on what 16x10" wheel I want to go with. So I'll use these until then.

I was gonna say....I thought 7" was pushing it on the 10.5" ones. I'm wondering if I can run the 28" x 10.5" x 16s on the stock 6.5" wide steel rims safely. Would you say the 11.5" wide slick is a good upgrade over the 10.5" one?

I don't think the inch will make a diff. Guys are hooking hard on hoosiers thats not as wide as the ten.. Hoosiers are the best hooking tire on a heavy vehicle..

I wanted a DOT legal tire so I can still run in the street class. QTP's only come in 11.50's, I wanted 10's but they are a full slick.

I don't understand why the et streets wouldn't hook up. I've read a lot of posts about that but for some reason can't comprehend it. I pulled up to a 1.72 60' on 26x11.50 et streets on stock suspension. Are you perhaps talking about the et street radials?

well they are the ET Streets, the slicks with the 3 grooves cut in them. I have caltracs and all also... I will have to see if the hoosies FULL slicks takes care of that..
