It needs a converter, BAD. Current one barely flashes to 1800 RPM. Just bought an FTI 3200, hopefully that solves it.

Recently ditched the front sway bar, 24.2 lb weight loss total. (Bar, brackets, bushings, hardware)
I've got to be close to 250lbs off of the truck. I ditched another 5-6lbs a few months back.

I have gone from 5300 to 4500 doing what you’re doing. Just pulling **** off as I go and see things that aren’t needed. The biggest one for me was tires. Went from a 305/50/20 to a 275/55/17 on Yukon wheels and gained .5 the exact same night only tuning for tire size change.

I ditched the overload leafs today - 31.8lbs
Also got rid of my air lift helper bags - 12.8lbs

Hopefully the truck will actually weight transfer now with the combination of removing that stuff and Viking double adjustable shocks up front.

I did this(not including bags) hoping for the same and didn’t get much. It helped a little bit, but noticed if I do spin it just makes the front spin worst than before.

I had no problems hooking up last Friday night. But, definitely going to have to play with the front shocks more. Watching the two passes, the nose jumps up and settles down rather quickly.

yea I think I need a better tire. Once I start spinning I spin most of 1st gear. I also want to relocate my rear shock both being behind the axle.

What tire are you running? I'm on a 315/50r17 MT radial pro. They work, but I am working on switching to a 15" wheel and a 295/65r15. Rear shock relocation is on the list as well. I currently have Bilstien 5100s with Belltech shock extenders. Not exactly a drag race setup.

I'm putting together an LQ9 for the truck, wish I had been able to find an aluminum block that wasn't 4-5 times the cost. I'd like that weight off of the nose.

I don’t have anything special. I’m just getting to the point where tire matters only on the streets. It’s a weird size 255/55/17 I think? Just wanted a short tire.
mines a stock LQ9. Would love to build an aluminum block as well. An extra 100 off the truck would be nice. That would get me below 4250!
