A friend of mine clued me into this 1/8th mile track close to here that has a test and tune on Thursdays, so of course I had to go test out the blower. I raced at full weight (around 6300), and with my 35x13" tires.
A run I made back in 2006 with only gears and wait4me tune only was:
10.85 @ 66.39 with a 2.495 60ft
Tonight my best was:
8.915 @ 77.97 with a 2.021 60ft
I beat a new camaro ss by over a second (he ran a 9.863@74.24), and ran better times than some of the corvettes there. I punched my numbers into a calculator and appearently my time is good for around a 13.5 in the quarter.
I also raced a friend of mine in his lifted F250 with 37s with intake, exhaust, and +350hp tuner thing and he killed me off the line (ran a 1.764 60ft), but it was pretty even after that. He won by 0.329s.
Here is the run with the camaro:

Burnouts with the all terrains.....gonna have to cut that **** out, way too expensive, but I did have good traction....

The intake temps were pretty crazy though, started out around 115 got up to around 145 by the end of the run. Ambient temp was around 83. I think I might try some dry ice or something on the the coolant tank to see if that helps.

damn I bet thats pulling alot of timing.. In the staging lanes mine will see 115 but after i start moving it drops fast down to the outside temp.

haha no, its a left over from my april fools joke
it was pulling 2-3 degrees, down to around 16-17
im thinking having a very large resovoir tank is actually keeping the temps higher than normal since there is so much hot fluid in it....
