your setup is azz backwards!
you have a 4x4 lifted on 33s no gear and you picked a tr224 which is a topend cam no bottomend torque on a 2600 stall if that

my old 212/218 cam gained 4 tenths alone at the track

smaller cam to make torque down low will get it moving and run better with your stall

If you don't want to re-gear, I'd say a 3600 stall would help you immensely. I'm willing to bet it'll drop .4 - .6 off of your time.... if you can hook.

Just remember you have to re-gear both the front and the back.

Agreed! Get a TC first. There isnt much of a driving difference in a 3200 and a 3600 TC. They have really came a long way over the years and drivabilty is about the same. However, your flash is just a tad bit higher with the 3600. The TR224 is a nice cam but like everyone said before your TC is killing you down low and your 60 ft is worst than it was in stock form b/c you now have 33's which changed your gear ratio. That cam isnt doing anything but making noise and burning gas with the setup now. That cam doesnt start pulling until maybe 3200 if your lucky. So yes, Im sure that you are very dissapointed that your truck has less grunt out of the hole.

I just put 4.56s with 33s on my truck. It is a night and day difference. Gears and converter are a must if you want a decent time with 33s.
Do you do any towing? if you don't tow I would look into a 9.5" 32-3600rpm converter.
