Default tow/haul button?

Hey guys,

A friend was telling me that if you run the 1/4 with the tow/haul button on, your times would improve. Is this true? Thanks!

It changes the shift firmness, so I could see it making a difference there. When I ran with tow/haul and my Nelson tune it slowed me down, but I could feel KR kick in about 3/4 of the way down the track. I don't know the details of my tune though, so I have no idea if tow/haul was the direct cause or if it was just a coincidence.

If you have a custom tune you can turn your tow/haul buttom into a haul *** button. You can have it set with higher shift points, harder shifts, and you can make it hold the gear until redline. The major benefit of the last one is racing from a roll. You can hold whatever gear you should be in and no more down shifting. Others have turned the button into a dyno mode. It will hold third gear and lock the converter. A lot of fun stuff can be done with the button but you have to program it that way. One for nice smooth daily driving and another for haulin ***.

No you will need to get a custom tune. sponsors--------> on the right. Call talk to them, tell them what you want and they should beable to do it for ya. I don't think it is faster cause to me it feels like it falls on it's face more than regular but as someone above said it was worth .10 so who no's
