Thanks guys, its a good start i think, looks like i need it do a little intake work and maybe a 160 stat to try and get the air a little cooler, and little a more tuning work and a good track day maybe i can get it into the lower 12s were it should be.

yea that proflow intake is nothing but a big heatsink sitting up there, but its good at least to see someone with one have some decent 60' times and not complaining about losing low end with it..
you do have a giant stall tho..

I've ridden in the truck quite a bit and it seems to have really good low end. Especially for the size of the cam. You can't reelly feel the low end with that stall but when the converter locks up you sure can! But his stall don't feel nothing like what a 4000 should. He took it out earlier today and tried brake stalling it as hard as he can with the slicks on it and all he could get was about 2500 rpm... Seems kinda tight for a 4000!

you guys should PM me sometime before you go, I only live an hour west of Great Bend. I've got a buddy from there that wants me to go over there and race sometime...

Dam really? I didnt know you live so close to GB! I'll definitely hit you up next time we go. We're like the only NBS chevy trucks out there. It would be nice to see some more!

There are a ton of transplants running around GB. I know of a NBS mustang a 68 SWB and a 74 chevy truck also..

Oh yea i know few guys with transplants from out there too. I know all the guys from GBSB (Great Bend Speed and Body).. They got an 86 Chevy SWB with a 5.3 and a 77 GMC LWB with a 6.0. They've got a forum as well, you should check it out: gbsb.proboards.com. My username is John btw
