Ive ran pretty much the same time in the HEAT in full street trim, and im only running a Comp 224, TCI3000, 3.42 gears, STOCK heads, Stock truck intake, and the usual bolt-ons.

They weigh in at about 4600-4800 not that big a difference. Not ******* your setup at all just trying to figure out why you arent where you "should" be. I would think you should be atleast a half second faster. Good luck getting your bugs worked out. The black smoke thing is a bit puzzling.

he is running about 2-3/10's faster then i'am right now, since the last time I checked at the track the truck weighed in at 4320 and went 12.80 at 104.9? it was also 88* outside too, since then I haven't had any tires to get times with, that will change on the 7th of sept. though hahaha.
Quik, you will be low 12's high 11's in cold weather and take the weight off, like I said before you know what it does on the street, now its time to get your fastest times in race form. good luck.

This is one of those situations where I am going to say bigger is not always better. This is just IMO. This setup in a car would be perfect, but in a heavy truck its just too much, like i said its just IMO.

and im still working out bugs as in what gears i need. in a roll i do pretty well. ran a C6 on way back from the track 3 times and each time i would put lenghts on him. ran a buddy's SSS that runs 12.6 consistant and i put lenghts on him again
just figuring out i need gearing might solve some of my issues, so only time will tell what is going on

We walked my buddies H/C/I modded F-body from mid 12s to an 11.9 in one night of true testing and tuning... Mainly messing with shift points and A/F and timing out of the hole. So yea, keep playing around with the tune and tweaking this or that and you'll be where you want.
