i bought mine back in nov/dec? so dont know if they are discontinued, if so then that blows, cause my truck hooks pretty damn good on the street with them...

Now that I think about it, I think they said they discontinued my size (275/60/17) That was back in mid October 2009.

you can blow money trying every tire in the poll, or you can just get the only one that will work the first time.

The nitto nt555r requires a 9" minimum rim width for that tire and my rims are only 8.5" so this is why I am looking at street tires.

They don't list that size on their website anymore. I guess a 275/60R17 wouldn't be too bad, only a half inch shorter.

I'm still about a year out from buying tires yet anyway.

i have the hankook ventus ST RH06's and I LOVE THEM!! My tire size is 305/40/22 and even with 470 rwhp i can barely chirp them when flooring it at 5-10mph They grab very well for a street tire atleast a lot better than the nitto 420s' i had on there.
Those i could floor anywhere under 40mph and light them on fire till my truck shifted to second

i ran 305/45-18 on a 8" wide wheel and it was just fine. i think it required a 9.5" wide wheel but it worked perfect on my 8" wide wheel.

Wheatley can vouch for this, from a dig, I only chirp the Hankooks. They hook hard. I put down 367/407 at the rear and have 3.73's, for reference.

back when my truck had the 5.3 and 3600 stall and all boltons we were running 1/8 mile due to the weather and i managed to put down a 1.87 60' with my Toyo Proxes S/T. i never ran anything else so i can really say on the others.
