I deleted the post because I kinda got long winded and on second thought its kinda dumb to explain and explain and discuss what i got and what you got and all that. Its really pointless i think. Because orginally you stated that No Tune/LT only truck better bother with you. I said id take you up on that, You started saying my truck didnt qualify because the LQ4 didnt come stock in my truck. Its the same thing, I had to change the motor, it had 278K on the original 5.3l. Then you agreed after reading my times posted in my Sig. Ok so thats cool. I picked at you and said your gonna get outrun...you replied by saying " Run what you brung, right?" This implies that there will be an unseen deciding factor in our race that will turn in your favor. Not any fun IMHO.


BOLT ON?? I have a stock LQ4 with 100,000 miles on it, LTs, Homemade exhaust, an Ebay CAI, E fans and a Tune.


Anyways, Im not scared. You are correct. I most certainly have a 2001 Extended cab 2wd silverado, Swapped to a LQ4 because my old motor was shot. running the stock 60e with the same mileage as the 5.3l. I do have Long tubes, it is tuned with HP tuners, I do have a vette servo and cooler to try to keep my tranny alive. I do have Efans which probably came on yoru truck stock. idk

I really dont know how fast its going to be. It may fly or it may not have enough tire to hook I really dont know. I can tell you this though Im not afraid to run anyone no matter how fast they are. As long as its for fun of coarse.

 

If I can use my street tune runs from this past weekend to forecast what I should run in the 1/4 then yes Im expecting to run in that range on my race tune.
