well there's your problem. Now with that cam you're actually running slower at the track than you would with the stock cam due to the fact that your powerband shifted up in the rpm range. I went 14.06@96.6 with a ext cab stock 6.0 everything, stock stall and headers.

Tune tune tune, stall, good tires.. The mph is good for high 13's but the rest is just not good.. You had to spin like a bitch to get a 60ft like that, no??

LOTS of things going against you in your setup in general... gears, converter, wheel/tires, tuning, exhaust etc....

really depends on what you do with the truck and your goals... to me a good streetable all around setup with that 6L/224 is a 32/3400 converter and some 4.10's should get you out of the hole much better (enough to cause traction issues) and be all around more fun to drive. make sure you trans and trans cooling system is up for the added heat of the converter.

If you get a high 2000-low 3000 stall along with some traction you will drop 7 thens off the quater. 3-5 tenths off the 60 alone. I wouldn't get too radical with gears, this and that. Converter will help big time! Wheels and tires that are lighter and offer enough taction will help big time.

i agree you need some practice and tune adjustments, throw i a set of 4.10s and a set of stock wheels with a radial and you will hit 13's even with the stock converter, ask 007gmc, lol
