the Z will be at the track on Sunday because Blue won't be making it that's for sure.
i had to drop the trans yesterday afternoon b/c the 2-3 clutches are toast.
(fluid is clean but has that burnt smell)
it's draining now waiting to get shipped back to Performabuilt.

 

I was really wanting to go, but I just dont feel that good. I was wanting to see what this mustang would do. Someone take some pics or video to share.

 

Man, i'm an idiot, just filled up today, thinking I had a lot of running around to do, but didn't. Now it looks like I'll show up with 3/4 tank, damnit. So much for weight reduction. Hey, what do you guys do with your wheels and tires if you swap them at the track?

 

I bring a chain and chain them to my jack and then to a pole, or if my wife comes in her vehicle, I just chain them to her wheel. Its not bad at state capital though, most people just leave them lying around on the ground. If you go as a group, you can just leave them all together, or you could always ask someone that is there with a large setup to let you put them by their stuff. I know what you mean about the gas, I have made that mistake a couple times.

 

That sucks about the Bells Palsy man, my wife's Uncle had it. It definitely sucks and it's really scary when you don't know what it is. His got better in a couple of weeks too, I'm sure it'll get better soon man. I'll put my wife on picture and video duty so you won't have to worry about that lol! Get well soon man!


We'll only be in my truck btw, the new GTP threw a trouble code the other day and needs new spark plugs, plus the random misfire the plugs are causing are somehow related to the Stabilatrak acting up. So I didn't want to take any chances on the brand new car haha. See y'all in the mornin' time!

 

it's cool just leaving them by them self but for the piece of mind, extendocab is using my trailer so you could most likely leave them on it.

 

You guys have fun out there and be safe. Your getting 14s today, I can feel it. Your pontiac having problems huh, we had one that gave us tons of trouble, ended up getting it bought back. They replaced so many parts on that thing numerous times, but they never figured out why it did what it did. Misfires, stalling, gas tank would shrivel up and spit the gas back out.LOL. Its too bad too, it was a nice car, real comfortable inside and had tons of power.

 

Just got back...awesome cars out there today. Oh, I want to let it be known I beat a S/C Mustang GT lol

 

Congrats. Last time I went I killed a 10 second turbo integra until the 1/8, then that turbo spooled and blew by me.LOL. I got him on the holeshot (he was sleeping big time)and he passed me right around the 1/8th. Waiting on video, how crowded was it. I started just to drive out there to watch you guys today.

Haha, no 14's this time, unfortunately. I did improve my trap a couple mph and my et went down a couple hundredths, but only a best of 15.022. For some reason my 1/8 was crap and the trap was down a few mph too. Probably due to my little wheel hop with no weight in the back making me cut like 2.3 60's. With that and the warmer weather, nothing was too exciting.

I only made three runs, it was pretty crowded too. I did get to put some serious smack-down on an OBS ECSB Z71 haha, that thing ran like a 17.6! I also killed a little weird Asian guy in a Civic Si that kept reving his stock motor at everyone and jammmin' emo music. I beat by like 4 tenths lol. I have a few videos and a bunch of pics I'll upload later for y'all. Right now it's off to studying though...
