Well yall had your opportunity to take a shot and get a lane besides me sat. It got awfull quiet after the only one to bring his truck had problems and loaded up. I was amused by the creative excuses I heard at the track by some who left thier truck at home. Made some motor only 1/8 mile passes to warm her up. Even put it on the bumper on one of those. Props to copperdodge who was making hot laps and still well into the 10's.

Things didn't turn out to well for me this year. Wanted to step it so I threw the bottle on a few days before the shootout hoping for the best without any real testing. Had a couple decent passes with 114/115mph trap speeds but not so good on the 60'. Every pass the wideband said she was getting fatter and fatter even after pulling some fuel, adding a little timing, and swapping to a smaller fuel pill, I ended up pulling the bottle and focused on the motor tune before I fucd something up. Needless to say I wasn't going to reach my best of the day pass for eliminations without the bottle but lined up like a champ anyway, cut a .005 light and got smoked by my future father in law who ended up winning the 1/4 mile shootout. All in all it was a fun event and felt good to play with the bottle for the first time. Can't wait to get everything squared up so I can make this truck really move!

That was a wild ride for sure. I'm a little exposed in that pic. You can see all 4 mufflers, the AOD trans, stock factory leaf springs, et street tires, and my fuel filter getting scraped. That track was working.

Good to see some fast trucks. I had to leave mine at home. 3rd gear logging produced more boost than my stock 6.0 could handle. Actually met the infamous F-22 . Much more personable in person. His truck was dialed back and just testing the waters for a grudge race. I can say MOST trucks on this site are full size and he will spank MOST trucks on here. Pretty mean ride he has.
