Why 87 octane? Guess that affects your times a good bit. My truck with mods in sig, minus the heads and running on 35's ran 14.05 in 2wd. 13's should be easy with your truck. Do you run in 4wd?

I'm running 87 just to keep costs down until I pay off the trans (borrowed the money from my parents), and I'm also on a college student budget.

And yep, I was running in 4wd. I've got the manual T-case, so it doesn't shift out under power.

Do you have a custom tune? If not get it tuned and you will be mid 13s. I dropped .7 with my BB tune.

If you can work on getting it to hook in 2wd, you'll have 13's no prob. Nonetheless, your current times are pretty good for your setup.

Easier said than done, but yes, I agree with you. Anyone want to donate some slicks?

I have no clue on temps, I still haven't figured out a cost effective way to hook up a trans temp gauge. I'm running the Trucool 40k, so I'm thinking (well, hoping) they weren't too bad, plus it was about 65* when I ran the back-to-back runs.

Yeah the bad knock sensor was definitely a bit of an issue.

I was at Atco. 8 runs for $15 ain't too bad.
$15?!? :nunchuk1: I guess when I come out to East coast next yr., we need to run there then.
How much to run at Island ? is it? Or at E-town?

Cause here, it's $25 for T-n-T, but used to be $20.

Congrats on better times, Dan.

Times are lookin good Dan. I wish I could have been there to see if I am near the 13s or the low 14s like you. 8 runs is a damn good night at Atco. I am guessing nobody blew up and oiled down the track. Next time I will be there, damn the overtime. Racing is more important.

Thanks. And E-town is $28 for only 3 runs on test-and-tune nights. It's a nice track, but a damn ripoff. I've never been to Island, but it's just as far from my house as Atco, just in the opposite direction.

Yep, everything went pretty much perfect. There was one oil-down scare, but it was just something burning tons of oil.

What do you think about going on the 20th or 21st?
