I would look into how far past redline you can take your motor. I mean 75-100' aint squat and I bet you easily pop a 13 if you can extent 3rd gear a bit.

LMAO!

Doubtful. Most engines can run short blips well past "redline" but I dont know enough about the 8.1Ls to know what their springs and such can handle. I mean redline is like 6k on the 5.3L trucks but I used to run mine to 6200 all the time on stock internals

Not trying to hijack the thread, but why did you get rid of the turbo and go to a radix??

Me or Linda?

I was gonna build a RCSB race truck and put the turbo on it and make the Z71 N/A. Ran across a great deal on the blower so stuck it on the Z71. That's pretty much it. It wasnt a real STS vs Radix choise. Just weird circumstances. Both are great setups and right now I would be hard pressed to choose one over the other.

crank up the boost. 5lbs is a joke. very impressive time for such low boost. I say go to at least 8lbs. I ran basically the same times on 15lbs that I did on 12 because of belt slippage.

Jesus! Your running 12lbs of boost with no IC? Do you have any KR/Detonation? How does it perform in the summer in the heat? Ohh, i just saw in your sig you got meth. injection. I would need an IC or Meth to go any higher than 5 or 6 lbs i think.
