This is just a reminder that, as per the posted schedule, there will be NO DRAG RACING at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois, from Monday, July 14, through Monday, July 21, due to facility reconfiguration for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series event on the GIR oval on July 18 and 19. The Street Car Shootout Series will resume on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.

 

Bert, I've never done a 1/4 run before. I live in St. Louis so Gateway I think would be a good bet. Do you just go there and do it or what? Or are there special times allocated for just your average joe to make a run? thanks

 

The Tuesday night program would be perfect for that; $10 to watch, $15 to race.
