I think the Chevy guys on here KNOW about having to add a built tranny to add reliability!

kkd60... some of these guys are running mid to low 12s and faster with the 6.0s...

oh, and slowprocess.... you have always said the Hemis have NO potential..... mind telling us what it takes to get your truck in the 11s? please do not forget to give us the raceweight and the D/A for the timeslip you post for us...... inquiring minds want to know...

For anyone wanting to know about the N/A 5.3s or any other setups there is a fastest trucks list you can look at. The mid 12 5.3s have stock heads. My buddies truck will be put to the test this friday it is the most extreme stock shortblock 5.3 out there right now so we will see what it runs and its a 4wd

You fail to mention he is also stroked to 370 or even more if you look at the other thread. If he's a 370 then he's the guy to shoot for.

Right, 370ci. 30 over, stock stroke. The Hemi is a 6.1 right? Good comparison to me.
Edit: BTW, some are callling BS on this guys setup so...maybe it aint true. (The Chevy guy)

No he is 5.7 based. It's got a crank thats offset ground to get 370 CI. 6.1 blocks are expensive and not much of a gain.

Nevermind...I just read the whole thread about this 11.xx 6.0. The guy is full of He probably doesn't even own a truck. It is a funny read though.

Tell him to get that 370 squared away and get a vid. Maybe there is hope for my buddies Dodge Ram QC.
