I have video of my kid driving my truck with the 5.3 (heads-cam) running a 12.8 or 12.9 if you need it. A 12.20 or below would take some planning.
I noticed that 100 more hp dropped the sixty foot down 2 tenths on the exact same suspension/tires.

12.97 et

Default pittman truck

what you run 1/8 8.1? to 8.2? . you had to have a good converter. i am not doubting you got ur stuff together .not saying it impossible . but not as simple as people saying it is.THE WORST THING SOME BODY CAN SAY TO YOU IS (all you got to is...........) .I KNOW BECAUSE I BOUGHT MY TRUCK WITH JUST A 6.0 IN IT 11/25/12 .PEOPLE SAYING ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS BUY A TURBO .10.000$ LATER AND I AM STILL SPENDIND LOL

No... it is not easy !! Everything has to work together or it doesn't come together as it could. TC needs to match the cam as the gearing and tires.
Heavy truck needs some torque too. The suspension needs to be set up right and then you still need some good air and track conditions.

Drag racing takes a lot of planning and money to be fast.

me: ecsb 5.7 12.19 N/A.
skeet: ecsb 6.0 11.8x N/A
AP2002: ecsb 6.0 12.39 N/A
V8: rcsb 5.3 i think he went around 12.60
bluecajun rcsb 5.3 12.3x N/A

everything has to work together. most people throw money at a project and never spend the time to tune everything to work.

Tim,

My buddy Josh's truck here where I live is a lq4 with milled 243s, decent sized cam, yank ss 3600 converter and 4.56s on stock suspension with slicks ran a 7.80 something at coastal plains. He cut a 1.69 60ft I believe too. It can be done. It has the HD front clip, full rear bumper, full interior and 20's up front. he has longtubes, e-fans,and trailblazer ss intake.

Tim, what kind of sixty foot are you getting ?
What year is your truck...newer is heavier ?
What kind of MPH are you seeing in the 1/8 and 1/4 ?
Have you been to a dyno to get the tune right (or at the track with a tuner) ?
What rwhp\tq are you seeing ?

It looks like you have all the right stuff for a beast by your list.

That's impressive, I don't think I've seen your times before.
