It's possible to get an EC to be as light as silver-mod-o's. I'm not sure how loaded it is, but if you have a roll pan,you take out all seats except driver's of course, no spare, and no hitch then that's close to 300lbs. I've taken my backseat out before and it's surprisingly heavy. I plan on doing some serious weight reduction in the future, but still keeping my interior and AC intact. I've gotten it down to 4500lbs w/me (~200lbs) and with rear sway bar, hitch and passenger seat still in it, 32" tall tires w/20's and a big A2W IC system. If I ditch most of that stuff and put of some stock wheels, I don't see why 4000lbs isn't within reach. I've never run it at the track like this, but I'm sure it's gonna be fun.

I just dont understand why others arent as light. I remember a while back I posted up something about weight and people were kinf of amazed/skeptical about my setup but I havent done anything drastic at all.... like I said, front pass and rear seats, tailgate, roll pan, and spare.... The spare winch, console, sway bars, and plenty of other weight is still in it I can take out. Not to mention, this truck has POWER EVERYTHING, mirrirs both front seats, you name it... the only thing it doesnt have is leather. It will see 3999 before I'm done LOL.... hopefully that weigh puts me in the hunt for some records with this thing

Yes it does, I didnt realize how heavy it was till the first time it was on a lift at the tranny shop. It had to come back off the lift and go onto another lift because the lift was bowing in.. That compelled me to get it wieghed.
