So maybe in the spring we shall see what it does...
When it's cool out, it'll run better ETs tho, right? Or do u prefer 90* & 100% humidity?
Think of it this way. You'll get more track time w/ no one there. U can try out that special combo that u don't people to see!

Or is it so cold there, that u just spin cause the tires aren't warm or track surface temp won't allow good lauches?

If you're only running 5psi, isn't 3psi enough to brake boost to? That's odd that a TT3000 didn't just load right up with a 6.0L when you had the 60E.

Here were my results:

5.3/Radix@9psi/Stock converter/4L60E - 13.57 @ 99
6.0/Radix@9psi/Stock converter/4L80E - 13.64 @ 104

I can't remember my 60' times, but my results were typical of what I saw from others. My ET was slower but my trap speed was higher.

I would assume that the 6.0L helped that a bit. That is a fairly good comparison either way.

Yeah, in my case the bottom line was the the 80E ate up almost all of the benefit I got of swapping from the 5.3 to the 6.0.

Here are my results....

5.3/4l60/STS@10psi.................Nothing didn't make it to the track...
6.0/4l80/STS@13psi................IT SHIFTS WITH NO SLIP!!!!!!!

I would not care if the 80 ate up double the hp, at least IT WORKS!!!

I would suspect a turboed truck would like the tall first gear of an 80 more that a supercharged truck...
