Discount tire direct cancel my order because said my truck exceeds weight limit for this tire.

I'm mounting these on 17" steel wheels.
What do you all reccommend?
Discount wants me to order a nitto truck tire. I want the drag radial that is dot approved.

I ended up ordering from summit. Cost $20 more because shipping a large item with summit $10 fee per item. Got 2 tires.
I tried to tell discount tire direct I would mount to my s10. But due to the fact I talk to them in person described situation he couldn't knowing do it.
He said weight issue tire rated 1400lb piece. Insurance and I didn't listen all the other stuff because I was aggravated.
I just hope I got enough side wall to get a bite. Small tire will see

Discount has ticked me off many times in the past with the same stuff. Low profile car tires on a bagged dually that was a show only truck to improper load rating for my wife's Yukon XL that will Never tow a trailer.

That's what I did was go to brand but when your filling out other information ask what kind of vechcle in a required field to fill out.
I have bought few sets of tires from them in the past.
Timdave I hope they do hook. I hate to of wasted $400 for truck to spin like it does now.
Do u remember what kind of psi you ran?
If you tried to run on the street did you have good Burnout?

They weren't anything that i expected. they do good but usually i had them spin no matter what. they need just a quick burnout to work best but still at that i ran different psi and it was hard for me to tell what did hook better than others lol. and i mostly ran on the street thats when i would just get a small burnout for them and it would do decent.

They don't have to know what vehicle you're buying them for....
They won't touch the 19.5's on my F450 either. One idiot probably had one blow up on him from something HE did and ruined it for the rest of the class
