New Quickest 4.8 record!! Aug 17th 2011
Post vid and timeslip tomorrow. I got the a/c on and a 2 1/2 hour drive home... I have to work tomorrow! Lol
Update: timeslips and the skinny. Truck was full weight to include leather, a/c, towing package and leveling bags on rear. Tailgate removed, running a 76gts at 18psi and a dry 50 shot. Mods to 4.8 include 02 ls6 cam/ yellow springs/ arp studs / ls9 gaskets running e85. First pass was to lean, like 13.3 lean (ouch) bar sensor was acting up. Reseated the plug then got two clean passes. My 60's were weak due to being rich off the t- brake, but another pass im sure I could have nailed a mid 1.5... Maybe next time!! Here at work now and damn im tired!! Very happy with the truck, hit 99.5k miles on the drive home, OEM 4.8 and 10 bolt still hangin on!
