depending on what fuel you are running, i generally ran 27-28* in mine..with 93 octane. it one of those things that are hard to tell, if you arent dyno tuning it. there is a fine line where increasing timing can decrease hp levels, i think around 28 was the sweet spot for mine... anymore lost about 4-5 hp. i would think yours could stand that or more, being that you have a better intake mani and heads than i had.

what all is done to your trans? mine picked up a few tenths with the built trans.

Shift kit, servos and the accumulator thing....

Yep I am thinking about giving Chase (Built408) a PM on getting the trans built. These 7k shift points are not going to make my tranny last long

I might go back to the dyno, last weeks dyno session was a huge cluster ****... I think my trans and/or verter hates me.

I am getting that way, i just had to beat scott.
