Went to the track again tonight, and dropped 2 hundredths off my previous best.
The DA was right around 1700'. No videos yet, probably tomorrow night.
Until then, timeslips. Note the identical 60' times.

This, unlike my previous passes, did include all of the **** that lives under the rear seat (40-50lbs), and the tonneau cover was off.

Nice work!
What density altitude would you consider optimal? 1700 seems high to me. I raced a week ago and the DA was about the same as your 1700 feet. I ran 3 tenths slower than my previous best and was frustrated. I don't know what the DA was when I ran my best times, but I do know the altitude at my home track is 90 feet.

Really, I just want it as low as I can get it, hopefully the end of November nets me some good results. And I'm almost as lucky as you, the elevation of this track is 133'.Damn! Like I said before, we get some damn good air down here in the late fall.

I'll probably be going monthly, on whichever weekend falls closest to the 20th of the month (I have to come home to pay credit card bills then), I'll let you guys know a week or so ahead of time.
You get any times at Cecil?

You better come to Atco before the end of the season. Then I'd be the slow truck, though.

Ouch, both on the times and the quad. And there's no doubt in my mind that you'll be able to pull off a low 12 with your setup.
Still, 12s in a bigass truck like that isn't something to be ashamed of.

I know right, I built a lifted truck with big mud tires! It'll never be a drag queen, but it surprises a hell of alot of people on the street!
