New PB in my turbo truck
#1
I finally made some decent passes in my '01 rcsb. Last time i had it at the track, it was getting heatsoaked, running stupid rich, and I had all kinds of trouble launching. I ran a best of 11.7 at 117 on 17lbs that day.
Fast forward to this past saturday and, my first pass was 11.44 at 117 on 2.5 lbs less than last time. It was still pretty rich, so I leaned it out and went 11.36 at 120. Then they tell me I can't go faster than 11.50(no cage). Leaned it out again and made two more 1/8 mile passes, ending the day with a 7.04 at 99mph.
I still can't believe this thing is running as good as it is, especially with all the weight i have in the truck when i race(tools, floor jack, my 20" wheels, tonneau cover, subwoofer, etc...). Plans now are to put in a four-point cage and go back in spring time to snag some 10 second time slips.

Yea, it was ~10.2 AFR on the first run and I got it to ~10.8 and picked up 3 mph.
I then leaned it out to ~11.3 for the last two runs. I think i turned the boost controller 1/2 turn for the very last run, so it was probably around 15-15.5 lbs(didn't log the last run).
