Default New PB

Got a chance to get up to Thompson Raceway Park today in some good weather. Was hoping to put the truck in the 13s still under the factory GM warranty and she did not disappoint

13' 5.3/6A/3.42s/4x4
TVS1900 with 3.7" pulley
Kook's LTs and catted Y

From left to right
1) Best time of the day, spare and tailgate taken off.
2) First pass of the day, didn't even shut it down from driving 100 miles, full weight
3) On this pass I put it against the converter, apparently it didn't like that lol

Glad you got your 13's.

I guessed after you text me you didn't beat your time as I didn't get anymore updates. What did you think of the track? I liked it, mainly because the drive is decent since there is no traffic areas. It is in the middle of no where and there are no close gas stations I would trust.

I know, I almost didn't make the trip today lol.
What track were you at? Buddy of mine was at mason dixon today with his 6.0 turbo el camino.

Thanks man! Ya I was really hoping to hit triple digits but I suppose there's always spring time lol.

Thanks Pat! I think I only texted you my first run, my last run of the day was the best one then I just hit the road after that.
I liked that track a lot man, like you said the drive was nice... helluva lot nicer than PRP during rush hour lol. Quaker blows, I'm pretty much done with that place.

I was at a local 1/8mi track down here in VA. I like Mason Dixon, real nice place.

Thank fellas!

Tim, I definitely would've came last week but I didn't realize you guys were going up
And yes you're definitely right about that, these trucks are awesome for what they are! I calculated my mpg on the way home yesterday... running a consistent 70-80mph I was getting 16mpg, and it probably could have been a lot better if I romped on it out of every on-ramp and toll booth LOL.
